Field Of Happiness

When a sunflower has character , wearing his little hat and the hands as leaves. Way too cute.

Last week my friends and I came across a field of happiness. One of my friends confidently asked the farmer if we could take photos in his field. He kindly let us. Most of the flowers were facing the sun looking away from us, and some looked like characters with hats. Absolutely gorgeous!

Bees with love didn’t mind us being there. Covered in pollen they continued working as we took photos. “Be kind to the bees and they are kind to you,”, I always like to say.
The last three sunflower images were taken on my Canon 1100D camera.

High Power

What makes you feel at peace? What do you feel connected to? What is your high power?

I’ve been wanting to make a post about what I believe is my higher power, what brings peace to my inner self. No, it’s not God, although I believe myself to be quite spiritual. My high power is known as nature. Our plants.

I honestly could not tell you the name of most plants or how to look after them but I can tell you that they make me feel grounded & connected. I can breathe more, I can smile and relax. I can think about my goals and remind myself of positive affirmations, to keep me going in life.

Near my house there is a nursery, on my days off I take go on my lonesome and sit within, with the plants.

“We plant a garden as we believe in tomorrow.

Cedar Creek

Spent my Saturday out with nature, out with friends exploring the world and embracing the beauty of Mother earth. For someone who struggles to have really good balance, walking through the bush walks was a bit of a struggle for me.
My friends son found a little turtle in the creek. What a wonderful experience for him and us. We put him back in the creek under a rock.
This was a bit tricky for someone with a phobia of falling.
Looking through nature to view nature 😍

Effort

personal

We talk about how there are two sides to every storey or maybe more. We talk about effort and trying, we talk about promises being kept and being broken. We talk about effort like it’s a bad thing.. “that’s too much effort!”

However effort can be positive, I prefer it being positive. I believe effort holds relationships in place, I believe effort helps us reach other goals and I believe effort keeps a family together.

Eventful Monday

beauty, bird, personal

Hey everyone, I haven’t posted in a few days but hope you are all doing well. Yesterday morning was quite eventful for me after one of my birds got out.

Image of Chloe in one of the trees.

My Indian ringneck who I adopted two years ago got out. Took me two hours to get her pack, but she didn’t stop calling out to me one letting me know where she was.

I got her back and she just wanted my company.

It makes your heart beat when an animal is let loose. She’s been to the vet for check ups and wing trim because I just can’t bare to go through this again.

Why have I never written about my birds? My true loves and soul mates. They are truly understanding creatures with big hearts and a big personalities. Meet Laurie, mummy’s boy, have had him since he was two months old. I swear he suffers separation anxiety and a mood disorder. One minute he loves you and the next he wants to eat you.

Laurie is now seven years of age. He knows how to speak really well and he can do shakes also. He is quite the chatterbox.

Even nature sends hope

beauty, nature, Relationships, Spirit World

Do you believe in your third eye? Opening to the spirit world, allowing loved ones to communicate with you. Sometimes they send messages through dreams, smells, sound and even butterflies. I have been seeing Grandma herself as a spirit, where as I believe she has been sending messages to all of us.

After grandmas first husband passed away, my grandma met my grandfather, they became beat friends and lovers. Pa and grandma did some garden renovations to the house, they planted bottle brush trees at the front. I can’t say how many years ago this was. This week the bottle brush with white flowers has been covered in butterflies and bees, it’s amazing and can tell this brings so much joy to his heart ♥

I like to say they are a message from the spirit world as Pa says he hasn’t seen the tree like this in 40years
